President’s Year-End Message 2006

As the 2006 holiday season wraps up, there is much to be thankful for.

Our volunteer team and supporters planned and executed seven events from Rancho Santa Fe California to Danville Arkansas! We were featured on three different newstations and in multiple print publications.  Through our partnerships GCTF raised awareness to many people, and raised over $17,000 in profit.  $10,000 was sent immediately  to the Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research for continued study of the molecular pathology of GCT, making our grand total sent to date for research over $60,000.  A very special thank you is due to GCTF volunteers and business partners for a great year of effective hard work.

While people are busy with new year’s resolutions, GCTF is hard at work planning a successful year for 2007 with this in mind:  ovarian cancer (in all forms) must be stopped from taking more lives and robbing families of their mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, other family relatives, and friends.

GCTF is not federally funded and we need your donations to continue getting the word out regarding vitally needed research.  Research that we hope to see soon leading to cures for many other diseases as well.  Cancer can strike anyone at anytime, so let’s work to prepare viable treatments or cures before it strikes someone you love.

Thank you for your support,

Kim L. Sager
